Monthly Mail Art 2026
We are excited to announce the launch of a new mail art series that anyone can sign up to.
This year's series is called the Rewilding Imagination Correspondence School – consisting of 12 fold-out postcard artworks sent monthly throughout 2026. Each one will include stories, drawings, creative instructions, prompts and visualisations to inspire a wilder and more embodied relationship to the world around us and within us.
Each month's correspondence acts as a portal into different modes of perception in which
human/non-human worlds collide, it is a call to loosen habitual
thinking and a form of resistance against the destructive forces of the modern world.
2025 was an intense year for many of us as living costs continued to rise, society became increasingly divided, AI permeated all corners of life and our environmental destruction showed no signs of slowing down – the Rewilding Imagination Correspondence School is a form of quiet resistance against all this, encouraging deeper connection with nature, people, places and ourselves.
Wildness
is about embodied freedom, freedom of thought and freedom of body – wildness isn't polite or pretty, it's about following the course of an inner call, connecting to the natural flow of the unconscious rather than serving the relentless march of capitalism.
For this series we've taken inspiration from the serial publications and fan clubs we used to collect as children. With our love of pre-digital aesthetics, we're creating something that can be held in the hands and placed in your pocket, part naturalist guide, part Fluxus performance score. And yes, the name is a reference to the “Correspondence School of Witchcraft” from Bedknobs & Broomsticks because we love that film and art is magic after all!
