Rewilding Imagination Correspondence School
Monthly Mail Art 2026
The Rewilding Imagination Correspondence School is a new mail art series consisting of 12 fold-out postcards sent monthly throughout 2026. Each one includes stories, drawings, creative instructions, prompts and visualisations to inspire a wilder and more embodied relationship to the world around us and within us.
Each month's correspondence acts as a portal into different modes of perception in which
human/non-human worlds collide, it is a call to loosen habitual
thinking and a form of resistance against the destructive forces of the modern world.
2025 was an intense year for many of us as living costs continued to rise, society became increasingly divided, AI permeated all corners of life and our environmental destruction showed no signs of slowing down – the Rewilding Imagination Correspondence School is a form of quiet resistance against all this, encouraging deeper connection with nature, people, places and ourselves.
Wildness
is about embodied freedom, freedom of thought and freedom of body – wildness isn't polite or pretty, it's about following the course of an inner call, connecting to the natural flow of the unconscious rather than serving the relentless march of capitalism.
For this series we've taken inspiration from the serial publications and fan clubs we used to collect as children. With our love of pre-digital aesthetics, we're creating something that can be held in the hands and placed in your pocket, part naturalist guide, part Fluxus performance score. And yes, the name is a reference to the “Correspondence School of Witchcraft” from Bedknobs & Broomsticks because we love that film and art is magic after all!

The first edition of the Rewilding Imagination Correspondence School is now fully subscribed, with 50 participants signed up. However, due to high demand, we have decided to produce a limited second printing at this halfway point of the project.
Join now and you will receive the first seven correspondences immediately, allowing you to catch up with the series, with the remaining five arriving monthly throughout the rest of 2026.
The cost for the complete twelve-part correspondence series is £115, including postage within the UK.
